I also love your post from yesterday, and it is so kind of you to say that we do not have to sing like a bird to just sing for the sheer hell of it - You are very right - I shall think of you when my family are begging me to stop! x
I really like the fact that your blog covers so many subjects. Always an interesting read, so I've given you a bloggie award, please drop by and collect it. Thank you.) Happy day.
I hadn't seen that one before. I'll never think of "My Sweet Lord" the same way again. (That's a very good thing. It always brought back a bad memory.)
There's a lovely memorial plaque for George in Griffith Park near the Observatory, in the midst of a little garden.

And I miss the Pythons - thanks for the reminder :)
Argh! Jim lad!
Too true - He was a delightful star...

Ahh George. Sigh. I bit my lip when they showed him accepting that cigarette..
The Pythons, and George Harrison, but so many other shows as well, that just showed fun stuff, from Carol Burnette to Rowan and Martin's Laugh In.
The shows that we have these days just don't compare! The comedic genius doesn't seem to be presenting itself on TV these days.
