The airplane dog reminds of when my friend Beth and I and Beth's horse Misty entered the costume class at a local horseshow. Misty was pregnant at the time - very pregnant (even for a horse!) and everyone was always saying that she was as big as a jumbo jet. So when the horse show came up, Beth and I knocked heads and came up with a great costume. I wore my old-fashion pilot's helmet, long white scarf and jodhpur pants, Beth wore a worker's jumpsuit and had one of those orange cone flashlights the ground crews use to signal the airplanes for parking and we made cardboard wings for Misty, put a cardboard propeller on the noseband of her bridle, hooked a cardboard airplane tail and rudders to the back of her saddle, with her Quarter Horse registration number as the airplane number. We won first place! Everyone was doubled over laughing as we walked (Beth) and rode (me) in with our "jumbo jet"!! Fun stuff. What we humans do to our animal friends! Misty was very good-natured about the whole thing.
I think animals like it as long as people laugh and clap. Having raised a show dog or two, I know they love attention. Humiliation, no; they sense the difference.
Oh gosh, I wouldn't know which one would be the cutest. *chuckle* I really like Wolfgang Puck, er, Pup, the nuns are hilarious, and Joe the Plumber very up to date. Thanks for sharing them all! :-)
If any of them are like my Yorkie was, they're having a great time getting all the attention. The Yoda and Princess Leia look like they're smiling. Dogs crack me up. I love dogs.
Really, really, really cute!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are too hilarious!!! I love 'em!
