Summer Blogcation

Over the years, I've noticed that blogging really slows down during the summer months. People go on vacation, spend more time outside and less at a desk when they're at home. Although I frequently take my laptop out to the veranda, I sometimes find it impossible to fire it up because I'd rather just sit in the hammock and daydream, and listen to music.

Even after six years of blogging, I still feel twinges of guilt when I don't leave an entry once a day; I doubt that anyone out there is waiting on me, but you know how it is. So if I blog less frequently over the next two or three months, you'll know why.

  1. Once a day? I thought I was bad for not blogging once a week!

  5. Lately I've posted little because my cat has been very ill and my head isn't for writing nothing. I have been very worried and I also bought a baby cockatiel that needed a lot of cares and the cat was ill and the same time. Horrible. Now everything seem to be all right and I hope I could to go to the beach that is in front of my home and I couldn't go yet.

This is the year of the rat, and it's damned!!!

  6. I'm sorry to hear about how difficult it has been for you lately, Emma. We've had a sick cat too, but she seems to be back to her self today.

Please take care and know that I'm sending my best thoughts to you.

You live by the beach? How wonderful!

  7. Thank you Steph, some people don't understand how much one could love a pet. In my case I adore my cat. My Lilit has 13 years and I think that she is my best friend.

My best wishes for your cat.

Yes Steph I live in a touristic city. Alicante is a beautiful city. Alicante has a lot of beaches. I life in front of a small beach. The sea is a bad vice for me :)

  8. Likewise. I find there are days during the summer when I don't even turn the computer on. Gasp! I think I like it.

  9. Bob, you're back from your trip!

I have to have my computer on everyday because it's how I make my living now, but sometimes I'm just too caught up on the internet to actually have fun on it.

Kind of like when I majored in composition in college: I was too busy composing to be a composer.
