Micah, the younger of my two sons, is a self-taught guitarist and composer of amazing talent. He's also a craftsman, a woodworker, an artist, a graphic designer, a web developer, a photographer, a recording engineer and, now, a budding engineer, learning and mastering the confounding workings of the 30-D printer, an invention that takes humanity one step closer to having a Star Trek replicator. I should have known, but I had no idea, on that summer day, there was so much talent incubating inside my 13 year-old son's inventive, curious mind.
