Thank You Blogger

It took a few weeks, but Blogger finally fixed the problem with the Recent Comments widget.

Funny how dependent we get on little things.

Thanks Blogger Peoples!

Don't forget that this is National Delurking Week. Leave a comment and say hi!

At least you stuck with it. I took mine down a long time ago because I was tired of seeing comments from 11/13.

Running to go put it back up now. Thanks!

I kept track of the topic in the Blogger help forum. I knew they'd get it fixed, I just didn't think it would take so long.

I don't use it -- I avoid most widgets. Too often the create more problems than they solve.

I didn't know that one existed!

Using the Recent Comments widget is really useful to me. It's how I know when and where someone has commented. While it was down I just used my email alert system, but that's more cumbersome. I prefer seeing the comments in my sidebar and going right to them.

Here's another "delurked" hi! Actually, since I post here a lot, I'm not officially a "lurker", I guess.

What I am is snowed in! Blizzard big time! Earlier today I shovelled 10" of snow off everything, then the snow came back even harder and now it looks as if I hadn't shovelled! Oh well -ski trails, here I come!

Sorry, this is totally irrelevant to the comments issue, but I notice in your profile that you're a fan of "I, Claudius". Is that the t.v. series with Derek Jacobi? In my opinion, that's one of the best things ever to be on television! What a cast! It helped to launch the careers of Hurt, Stewart and that fellow who played the Ruth Rendell detective, Wexford, didn't it? Oh, this is exciting! No one ever mentions this.

Poetikat: The very one. I saw it when it premiered on PBS back in the 80s--we were hooked and watched every week. I now own the DVD set. I can't tell you how many times I've sat through an I, Claudius marathon!

Thanks for stopping in.
