I have read many blogs that are written by women who really inspire me with their life experience, their courage and their strength. I created The Remarkable Women Bloggers Award to give a shout-out to these true heroines because, too often, they go unsung. Their blogs are witty, interesting, personal and/or inspiring, but sometimes it's easy for us to forget, or not be aware of the challenges they face on a daily basis because, well, they don't always write about them.If you have been given this award, please feel free to take the image above and place it on your blog. Just please remember to link it back to this page.
If you would like to give this award to someone, or if you would like to nominate someone, here are the criteria:
- The blogger must be a woman
- She must give of herself to help others, or must have come through a major life challenge that has resulted in her being a better person.
- This award is not a mere "feel good" award. It is one of selfless accomplishment, service and/or overcoming. The areas to be considered would be:
- The death of a spouse or child
- Being a caregiver, either professionally or personally
- Surviving and/or battling a major illness like cancer, AIDS, stroke, etc.
- Being the parent of a special needs child
- Putting oneself through school after raising a family
- &tc.

Please pay these remarkable bloggers a visit. You'll be glad you did!
I made the award using Reiko Renee's piece, named "Sisterhood", which is used with her generous permission. Please visit her site to see her other works of art.

What a lovely idea!
Just about every woman I know is remarkable in some way.
I'm just a fan! :)
You know Earl, just last night I was saying the Nettl that you really love women and that you read blogs that a lot of guys wouldn't. You're a great guy.
Go on.
No seriously, go on. ;)
Thanks!
again, you must stop with this blogger love.
Seriously, I am very inspired by your posts. I am so very happy someone like you, a very lovely and creative person, reads my stuff.

@ earl
I have noticed our blog reading habits often piggy back each other.
You must be at least part girl.
